The Poughkeepsie Tapes?????

Cloverfield + Blair Witch x Suspect Zero= The Poughkeepsie Tapes

AVP2 featured both the Cloverfield & Hellboy 2 Trailers, and then one more. A little film called The Poughkeepsie Tapes;

Poughkeepsie Tapes

"In 2001, police in Poughkeepsie New York made a shocking discovery—six bodies buried in the backyard of a residential house. Astonishingly, that was only the beginning.

Inside the home, police uncovered over 800 neatly organized video tapes detailing the exploits of one man’s decade-long crime spree. The most disturbing part of the find, was that the killer had filmed all of the footage himself-- from his first moments stalking his victims to their last seconds alive.

Compiled and edited by the Documentary Film Partners, THE POUGHKEEPSIE TAPES examines the homicides--incorporating interviews from criminal experts, testimony from the only victim ever rescued alive, and chilling footage shot from the killer's own camera. All of which document the twisted path of a serial killer as never before.

Beginning in 1988, a wave of missing person reports and unsolved murders from New York to Pennsylvania, began to alarm law enforcement officials. Many of the strange disappearances and dead victims held similarities. Soon the authorities realized they were dealing with a serial killer. The hunt to identify and capture the killer is layered with troubling facts and haunting events, eventually ending at the house where the tapes were found. Unfortunately, the discovery left more questions than answers. Did the killer leave the tapes intentionally? Do the tapes hold hidden clues? Is he still active?

This film dares to show what had previously only been available to law enforcement officials—the evidence, the puzzle, and the footage—of the Poughkeepsie Tapes.

Release Date: February 8, 2008""

Here is one of the "Alleged" Poughkeepsie Tapes. AXB Enterprises highly doubts it's validity since it features a character from the Broadway production of Lion King.

Is this Storm Shadow?

IESB is reporting that Lee Byung-Hun may be the top contender for the role of Tommy Arashikage in the G.I.J.O.E. movie.

Lee Byung Hun

Not so excited for this. An asian with good forearms and ninja capabilities are all i need.

They also report however that Rachel Nichols MIGHT be up for Scarlett's role. Thankfully she's much hotter than the Young Master.

Rachel Nichols

Rachel Nichols

I'm liking the look of most the casting. Sienna Miller, still not feeling.

This does it. I'm getting my Arashikage tattoo within the next months before you Fanboy Fucks start jumping on the bandwagon.

Ray Park is Snake Eyes???

Slashfilm and AXB Enterprises

Slashfilm is reporting that Ray Park has been cast as Snake Eyes in the G.I. Joe live action movie. This actually makes me happier than the Mark Wahlberg rumor. Who better to play a Non-Speaking Ninja than Ray Park? Really?

GI Joe is set to hit theaters on August 7, 2009

Watchmen Set Pictures courtesy of Zack Snyder

While AXB Enterprises has avoided getting too into the Watchmen film, it's hard to NOT notice the incredible set design Zack Snyder has provided for it. Created all on some back lot, it looks remarkably like the comics.

Here, we even get a glimpse at Rorshach!

Cobra has a Baroness

Variety is reporting that THIS is the Baroness.

"Sienna Miller...will play the film's female lead, described as a raven-haired baroness and sexy femme fatale skilled in espionage.

Stephen Sommers directs the live-action film based on the Hasbro toys, comicbook and TV series.

Paramount, which has set a mid-February start date, has slotted the film for an Aug. 7, 2009, release.

Story is set at Brussels-based GIJOE, an acronym for the Global Integrated Joint Operating Entity, and revolves around an international co-ed force of operatives who use high-tech equipment to battle Cobra, an evil org headed by a Scottish arms dealer.

Lorenzo di Bonaventura ("Transformers") is producing alongside Hasbro's Brian Goldner."

AXB Enterprises....NOT Impressed

It feels like July 3rd again!

Cloverfield had all but dried up. No more Page Sources to scour. No more maps of locations or random websites to debunk. It had been slow. Then, after months of waiting, a new trailer surfaces. AXB Enterprises has once again gone frame by frame getting you what you need to know.

OUR Mystery Trooper. Conclusive towards my theory of the film being based AFTER the Fact as a documentary.

AXB Enterprises

Destruction, from an upward view. Not the Helicopter and feel free to over analyze shadows of monsters.

AXB Enterprises

More destruction. This time with survivors...who are LOST...dun dun duh.

AXB Enterprises

SO, is the city evacuated? Why are these 30-Somethings running around with nobody else in site?

AXB Enterprises

The Carriage Without a Driver. Could mean that people were disappearing Langoliers style, or more likely that his stable was destroyed and now has nothing else to do but walk around looking like a prop out of Scooby Doo.

AXB Enterprises

Here is an image of the "Monster". Is it smoke, or something else? There is a pretty defined ARM-Like shape in the lower half of the image.

AXB Enterprises

Another picture of the "Monster". Couple frames later, best shots I could find.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

This image appeared for a SINGLE Frame late in the trailer. What does it mean?

AXB Enterprises

Just because it was a good shot.

AXB Enterprises

Other websites have used shots from this segment, but not this particular frame.

AXB Enterprises

No frames show anything conclusive from the Convenience Store scene of destruction, so look at this and find clues in the scene.

AXB Enterprises

Because we're perverts, check out the cleavage on THIS one!

Also, who knew that Ms. Liberty was packin? Even headless I'd hit it twice.

Got to Get Tough....Yo Joe

Hasbro has spoken out about the Outrage and Disgust generating in message boards and blogs toward the new alledeged "G.I.J.O.E." movie, and the changes being made to such an iconic storyline. Here is what they had to say, abbreviated for content.

"First and foremost, we are not changing what the G.I. Joe brand is about. The name “G.I. Joe” will always be synonymous with bravery and heroism...

...This movie will be a modern telling of the “G.I. Joe vs. Cobra” storyline and its compelling characters that Hasbro created 25 years ago. The G.I. Joe team will not be based in Brussels. Instead, they will be based out of the “Pit” as they were throughout the 1980s comic book series. And, in keeping with the G.I. Joe vs. Cobra fantasy, the movie will feature characters and locations from around the world. Duke, the lead character and head of the G.I. Joe team, will embody the values of bravery and heroism that the first generation of G.I. Joe figures established.

G.I. Joe is a very important property to Hasbro and we thank all of our fans for their enthusiasm. Without all of you, the brand would not be where it is today. .."

Got to get Tough

Well that's certainly a weight off of my shoulders. After they screwed the pooch on Transformers I can't let another childhood legend die at the hands of the studio.

After a fairly mundane challenge at involving some sort of convoluted GeoCaching the message of;

Robert Goulet - November 26, 1933 – October 30, 2007

A legend has died, and therefore starts the Rule of Three. I can only hope that Wayne Newton and Tom Jones are safe and accounted for. If so...I'm looking at you Siegfried and Roy.

In honor of Mr. Robert Goulet I present to you the highest form of flattery by Will Ferrell.

Why So Serious?

I haven't touched it yet, but if you haven't checked it out already, you've only got until Halloween to find it. WhySoSerious is another alledged viral site for The Dark Knight. Slowly, the candle has been flickering out and the Jack O'Lantern has been rotting. This is not terribly surprising because that's what Jack O'Lanterns do.

The reason I post now is because the light is VERY close to being blown out. Spot on Odds are that it'll exinguish on Halloween. Then what? No clue, but lets hope it IS a viral site and we get some new footage.

RAMBO [ram-bo]

Definition: Used allusively from 1985, in ref. to John Rambo, hero of David Morrell's novel "First Blood" (1972), popularized as portrayed by Sylvester Stallone in Hollywood movie version (1982), a U.S. Vietnam veteran, macho and self-sufficient, intent on vengeance. The family name is an old one in N.J. and Pennsylvania colonies of the U.S., originally Swedish, sometimes said to represent Swed. place name Ramberget, or to be from Fr. Huguenots who took refuge in Sweden

See Also: a fanatically militant or violently aggressive person

FYI: I guess it's now JUST "Rambo" again.

I'm Not There; confusing to my eyes

Studio Director: QUICK, we need someone to play Bob Dylan!

Intern Jerry: How about a black kid, a woman, some gay guys, and Batman???

Studio Director: GENIUS!

"I'm Not There" chronicles the life of Bob Dylan and looks back at hit life with multiple characters playing him to show his feelings at that time. What better way to portray BOb Dylan than in a really convoluted and obscure way. Genius!

Marcus Carl Franklin as Bob Dylan
Cate Blanchett as Bob Dylan
Richard Gere as Bob Dylan
Heath Ledger as Bob Dylan
Ben Whishaw as Bob Dylan
Christian Bale as Bob Dylan

Rambo to Hell and Back

"John Rambo" has been renamed. Multiple sources are reporting that the next film in the Rambo saga will now be called "Rambo to Hell and Back".

Reasoning behind this is not hard to decipher, "John Rambo" sounds stupid, and a simple carbon copy of "Rocky Balboa". Sure the new thing is to not include episodic numbers or character names (See also, "The Dark Knight" and "Man of Steel") but it was getting ridiculous.

Premise for this film, if you've been perfectly warm under your rock, is that Rambo moved to Burma, or Thailand, or Myanmar(they all look the same to me), and has been living a simple life. Just miles away is the longest running Civil War in the world runs rampant. He is completely happy living like a hermit, but then some frickin hippies show up and try to change the world. They subsequently get caught by rebels and Rambo has to rescue them.

Fucking Hippies.
